Hi, my name is Pam aka pammie~k. While an East Coast ocean gal at heart, I currently live in sunny Colorado with my husband and best friend of 18 years, Dave and our two daughters, Shannon (16yo) and Georgie (9yo).  I am an active volunteer in our church – currently serving as our Sunday School and Kids for Christ Club coordinator.

I have always loved crafts. I have dabbled in crochet (which I love), jewlery art, cross-stitch and quilting to name a few.   I began scrapbooking in 1994 and started adding digital pages to our albums in 2005. I am excited to combine my passion for scrapbooking with my love of computer art and design to create digital kits and scrapbooking templates.

I am blessed and honored to have recently been chosen as a Digital Product Designer for FaithSisters (www.faithsisters.com)  It is an awesome community and I invite you to come over and visit. I am so thrilled to be introducing you  to another new designer!

While checking out Pam’s store at Faith Sisters I was immediately drawn to the eclectic feel about her items.  For example the above element pack contains those 2 great stickers that evoke the feeling of years past but she combined them with some really cool and modern elements like the paper flowers.  It makes her products very versatile and sure to fit anyone’s scrapping style!

Pam also manages to fit in an inspirational quote (or two) in her kits and element packs. If you are a regular on this blog and familiar with my digi layouts then you will know quotes are my soft spot.   I love to take a normal everyday photo and pair it with some amazing quote and change the entire feel of the pic. So needless to say when I was browsing through her shop I was completely swooning.

I also love when a designer designs a kit around a subject that is not part of a trend.  Pam’s Jesus Loves The Little Children kit does just that. In all the shops I have visited I have never seen a kit designed around anything spiritual or religious.  It was like breathing fresh air when I caught a glimpse of this one.

One year ago today I married one of the most amazing men I have ever met in my life.

I met him January 2007 after much persistence from a mutual friend of ours.  She kept insisting I meet this wonderful guy.  I kept making excuses. Finally one weekend she asked me to come visit her in Atlanta and I promised I would go.  I was going to back out but she called me and told me if I didn’t get my tail in the car and hit the road she would never speak to me  again.  I went.  The following night he came over to help us mover her to her new apartment.  It was an instant connection.

After we had her moved into her apartment Joseph and I sat up all night watching movies, listening to music and talking.  We spent the rest of the weekend together  hanging out and getting to know each other.  When I left Monday morning I called my friend Lisa and told her I met the man I was going to marry.

The following week on his way to Ohio - where he was playing that season- he stopped in NC to see me.  From that point I was flying to Ohio every other weekend for his home games.  He was coming to NC on his bye weeks.   After the season he moved to NC.

That fall we were talking marriage.  He asked my parents for permission to marry me and they gave him my grandmothers ring.  We got engaged and the following January we learned about a special surprise.  We were expecting a little girl, who we later named after the friend who introduced us.

We were shocked and happy.  I thought I couldn’t have kids so this just confirmed that we were meant to be together. She was born in August of 2008. A year later we were married - he insisted I wait and have the wedding of my dreams.

It was the most beautiful ceremony ever! We were married in a garden, my dad escorted me down the aisle while JoJo sang God Bless the Broken Road.  We were surrounded by friends and family who had traveled from all over the country to be there.  We wrapped the night up with the most amazing party and watching Aubrey take her first steps on the dance floor!

It was perfect!

Are you ready for some football? If your house is anything like mine then that is all that plays on TV all weekend long.  Even my 2 year old stands in front of the TV on Sunday screaming “FOOTBALL”  - I blame her daddy.  For us it is more college football and Bears football and by “us” I mean my husband - hahahaha!!

Hi. My name is Kelly Hedgespeth and I live in sunny Florida with my husband Steve and our two young children. I started traditional scrap booking with paper in 2003 to capture the memories from my husband‘s Boston Marathon. I knew I was hooked after completing that first album.

Now that Aubrey has come along I have transferred all this energy into her clothes.  Seriously this is the best part of having a little girl (ok well not the best part but one of the good parts hahaha)  Here lately we have been running into a huge problem.  Everywhere we go we see some other kid wearing something she already has.  Outside I say “how cute we have the same shirt” inside I am screaming “OMG what if she had worn that same shirt” I am being honest folks I have a problem.

Anyway the other night I was showing my husband some of my new designs and he started laughing and said “wow that would make an awesome tshirt” -  sometimes the man earns his keep.  That light bulb moment of his led to this post.

Why have I never thought of this before?  I love this idea and it is so easy to do.  All you will need is a pack of transfer paper from your local craft shop or you can take the design and load them to sites like Zazzle and they will print it for you.

I am so excited about this idea. No more awkward moments of Aubrey and other kids in the same outfit. HAHAHA is that terrible of me :)

Today is my husband’s birthday!  I just wanted to take a moment and tell you all about him.  I talk about him a lot in passing but a lot of you have no idea how amazing he is.

Joseph is an amazing athlete.  After he graduated college he played arena football.  He was picked up by the NFL and the night he was suppose to leave his arena team played a game that would determine if they went to the championship.  He felt like not playing that game and not helping that team would be letting them down.  The first play of the game he hit a wall and broke his neck.  He was paralyzed.

He headed home to New Orleans and spent the next 6 months with his family.  They nursed him and took care of him while he went through rehab.  The doctors told him that the chance he would walk again was slim but football was completely out of the question.  He kept his faith in God and continued to work hard.  The next year he headed to Grand Rapids, Michigan to play for the Rampage’s Arena Football team. That year he led the team to the AFL Championship (their superbowl).

He was even featured in Men’s Health Magazine.  The issue was about Amazing Athlete’s who beat the odds:

He may have lost his NFL career  and his childhood dream (since then he has been picked up 2 other times and each time let go due to his medical history) but he has kept the most amazing attitude.  He has taken this opportunity and started speaking to at risk kids. He uses his story as a testimony and he will always tell you that it’s ok he didn’t make it to the NFL because God had another plan for him.  He says that had he gone to the NFL then our paths may never have crossed and we would have never met and never been married and never had Aubrey.

He is amazing!

From the moment we brought Aubrey home he has gotten up with her every night.  When he comes home from work he sends me upstairs to work or scrapbook and he takes over Aubrey Duties.  He puts her to bed every night, he gives her a bath every night, they have dance parties every night.

He is amazing!

Everyone who comes in contact with him loves him.  He is that sensitive guy that notices your new haircut, picks up on your mood and if you are having a bad day will stop everything to let you vent and then tell you it will be ok.

My name is Patricia. I currently live in Dallas, TX but I was raised and born in Buenos Aires, Argentina.  I enjoy all type of crafts and I love to discover and learn new techniques as I go along. However, my main passion is yarn, a lot of them, after that paper and fabric. I’m also a cat person, so Sam , a Bengal cat, is my companion and Helper. He loves yarn as well. I had been knitting and crocheting for as long as I can remember, all started with a Barbie that had only one outfit.

If you are a regular reader of my blog then you know I am a fan of all things crocheted!  I just love it and I always look at the work of talented people like Patricia in complete awe and jealousy.  I want to so badly be able to make things like this but for whatever reason I was not blessed with this talent.  However God made up for it by introducing me to talented folks like Patricia.  I mean seriously folks look at that scarf!

Not only is Patricia the creator of that amazing scarf but she also creates jewelry and can I add really awesome jewelry!  She has everything from scrabble pendants, glass pendants, to rings and brooches.  I literally spent an hour in her shop just looking around at all the really cool stuff.

Over the past 2 years I have watched her grow into an independent, entertaining, fun and beautiful little girl. Every day is full of adventure and silliness.  She has taught me so much about myself - things I want to improve and things that I didn’t know I was capable of.

I thank God for every day he has given me with her and pray that he blesses me with so many more that I cannot even count them.  She is everything that is good about me and I love being her mommy.  My days are filled with laughter, lots of kisses, and amazement.

My name is Dawn, I have been scrapping for as long as I can remember and went digi in 2003. I started designing under the name Daybreak Scraps in September 2009. I live in Western Kentucky with my high school sweetie, John, and we have 2 kids, Amanda, 25, and Johnie, 24. I love animals and we currently have a Netherland dwarf bunny, 2 cats, and a German shepherd. I really enjoy designing as it gives me that creative outlet that I need.

When Dawn emailed me about her interest in the giveaway I was so excited.  Not only did I want a variety of products but I am always looking for new designers to scrap with.  When she sent me her photo I recognized her right away.  We have been “comment” buddies at Oscraps for about a year.  What that means is we both posted to their gallery and both admired each others layouts.  Needless to say I was excited to see that she was now designing.  I was even more excited to see how good she is at it!!

I am so in love with her bright colors.  She also packs her kits with some amazing elements. I just love kits that are element heavy.  Not only will it increase that digi stash but you can do layout after layout and end up with a different look every time.

Dawn is not only an amazing designer but she is an amazing blogger!! Seriously you should check her blog out!  She has tutorials, layout ideas, contests and shhh don’t tell anyone but she has freebies as well!!

The kiddies are heading back to school which means we moms finally have time to catch up on all those amazing summer photos. Now is the perfect time to head over to Elemental Scraps and grab some of Dawn’s amazing kits!!
