I am about a week behind in posting my layouts; I am totally caught up with them I just haven’t had the time or motivation to do much else.  I think I have a a serious case of the holiday is over – it is 70 degrees in January – I quit my day job – I just got cable and want to watch HGTV all day – blues. I even purchased a new silhouette machine and it arrived almost 2 weeks ago and I haven’t even plugged it in.  Some quick send me some motivation!!!

I started this spread off with the date card that I used in 2012.  The week stamp was created in photoshop, by me, and printed out on kraft paper.  Before printing these out I added my favorite date cards. I am confident that I am going to take this look through the entire album and only change up the colors.

Below the date card are 2 photos I snapped this week.  One is of my new, still not used, silhouette machine and the other is of my Christmas decorations that I started to take down this week.  I took both photos into photoshop and used my tablet to draw and write on them.

In the bottom left corner is a pic I snagged from Disney.com.  We have watched a lot, I MEAN AN A LOT, of this show.  It has come to the point that Aubrey can now quote each episode word for word.  Again I took this into photoshop and added some text to it.

In the top right corner is a pic of the “drawing” Aubrey created on my countertops!! Right beside that is a pic of Aubrey cleaning up the “drawing” she created.  I took both photos and glued them to a 4×6 journal card from Becky’s Clemetine kit.  In the white space I just journaled by hand.

Finishing off the middle row is a stock card from Becky’s Cobalt Kit - love this kit – and beside that is a pic of Aubrey giving us a peace sign as she enjoys her Moe’s. I finished off this side of the spread with another journaling card from the Cobalt kit and I journaled some highlights from our week.

Between the right and left pages I added an 8.5×11 insert and included this drawing Aubrey did.  According to Aubrey this is a pic of the two of us at the park.  I backed it with some scrapbooking paper and on the back I just added a label with the date on it.

The left side is pretty simple but could possible be my favorite!  I used page protector D in combination to a card from the digital version of the Mayfield Kit.  Having the digital version made is sooooo easy to go in and add my work art and journaling.  On this page I  highlighted a few fun things we did this week.  In the top left is a pic of Aubrey on a playdate with her 18 year old BFF, across from that is a pic of Jenna at her birthday, below that is a pic of Aubrey combing her own hair for the first time ever and in the bottom left is a pic of the mouse I caught, BY HAND!!!  I am totally a country girl – hahahaa.

There you have it Week 1 of our new year.  I am so excited to doing this project again!
