Project Life || Week 14
Welcome to Project Life Week 14.
This week was full of some very low lows and some super highs. We started the week off with the sad news of my grandmother’s passing, she was 98 years old. At the top is a photo of her I snapped at her last birthday party, a month shy of being exactly a year. Under her photo I used one of Vol. 25′s quotes, she posts these weekly on her blog. At the bottom of the page I included the Atlanta Braves Logo, my grandmother’s favorite team, and the blog post I wrote here.
In the opposite corner I included a photo of Aubrey from this week, it was her idea to add the flower to her hair. I framed the photo by taking it into photoshop and drawing a line all the way around it using my paint brush. I then wrote “so cute” on top of the frame. I also included some polka dot paper from my Innocence kit and a heart punch.
Above the photo of Aubrey I included some InstaGram photos of the two baby possums I rescued. On one of the photos I wrote a little bit about finding them and rescuing them.
At the top of the page I used stripe paper from my Innocence kit and wrote on top of it. I also found these AMAZING date cards while browsing the Pinterest Project Life gallery. You can purchase them here. Just to let you know I will be using these in all my layouts and it is quite possible I may go back and change out all my existing date cards. I LOVE THEM TAHT MUCH!!! (I also was inspired by the heart on the date idea by another project life blog but I cannot find it. She is a photographer and her book is AMAZING. If anyone knows what the link is will you please share so I can give her credit for the inspiration.)
The entire right side was dedicated to the Barbie Mermaid Adventure. Our local IMAX theatre held a special Barbie event that Saturday morning. After all the little girls saw the movie they headed into their own mermaid adventure. They made shell necklaces, surfed, rescued animals and even made their own grass skirts. I jumped on the one photo, three spaces bandwagon by adding the movie poster to the top of the page. Then I scattered some of my favorite pics around the page. I also saved our tickets and finished the page off with Aubrey’s favorite memory of the day and my favorite memory.
