Innocence – Photobook Giveaway

20
Nov

Remember back in August when I had some photos taken for Aubrey’s 3rd birthday?  Well if you don’t then check out this post. Right after those photos I was a guest over at The Daily Digi and I created my Innocence kit just for my guest spot. Well this Friday I am happy to say that I am bringing that kit home to MScraps and debuting the photobook that Clara, CT member, and I created using that kit.

This photobook is all about those special moments in childhood that you want to remember forever.

It is Shutterfly read with over 22 different quickpages so that you can easily drop in your photos and put your book together.

The color scheme is perfect for boys, girls, old and young.

and today I am giving you a chance to win it!! You can view the entire book here

To enter just leave me a comment with your favorite childhood memory.  For more chances to win just tweet, facebook or blog about this giveaway.  Each time come back and comment with a link to your social media site.  On Thursday at 8pm(EST) I will close all comments and choose 1 lucky person to win their own copy of the photobook and my Innocence kit.

Good Luck

*special thanks to Aubrey for doing her best Barker girl impression with the book and for Liz from Paislee Press for the idea to showcase my book this way.**

EDIT – I have closed all comments I will announce the winner tomorrow morning. Thanks!

My favourite childhood memory is of a winter’s night, when I went out into our garden in the dark with some lights from our house shining on the snow covered garden. I jumped around and threw myself into the snow. Back then I felt freedom and ease. I often remember this moment…
The book looks so lovely – inspritational and a must have.
Thanks, would love to win this.

This is awesome! I think my favorite memory growing up was spending weekends during the summer at my stepdad’s parents house. They had an awesome pool and we’d have huge lunches and swim all day. His mom was really fantastic and would bring out huge platters of ice cream bars and cookies for midday snacks. It was amazing.

BEAUTIFUL BOOK!

My favorite childhood memory is my 6th Christmas. I have no idea why that one stands out more than any other, but it does. I remember that my mom changed the decorations from traditional green and red to mauve bows and little porcelain angels that matched my mom’s new mauve carpet (love the early 90′s). My parents, 2 older sisters, and I roasted marshmallows in the fireplace and drank hot chocolate while my dad read the Christmas Story from the Bible.. I even remember getting clothes for my barbies and a stuffed elephant (which I, of course, named Dumbo). There is just something about that Christmas that seems perfect to me. I LOVE it!

One of my favorite childhood memories was a Christmas my family and I spent in Hamburg, Germany. We went to Midnight Mass, and even though we don’t speak German we could at least sing the hymns. Afterwards, we walked out of the church to a perfectly still little courtyard where it was snowing! Still makes me teary to think about such a beautiful moment in time:)

Thanks for a chance to win this!

One particular memory that comes to mind was when I was about 9 years old. My sister (2 years younger) and I each had a dog that we had had since we were 3 and 5 years old. It just happened where in one week’s time, both dogs had a litter of puppies. Each litter had more than a dozen puppies in them. After school, my sister and I would get off the bus, walk the 2 blocks to the gate at the entrance to our driveway and upon entering, we’d yell “puppies!”, when out of nowhere, more than 2 dozen puppies would come running after us. Eventually, we’d surrender to the ground where they would pile on top of us trying to lick our faces.

I enjoy giving my children their own memorable experiences, and documenting them whenever I can through scrapbooking and photobooking.

Thanks for the opportunity to enter,

Tracy

Lets see, my favorite memory is probably playing dress up with my brother. I even have a picture of him in a pink tutu! So funny to think about it now that he is 30 and has two kids :)

One of my favorite memories is going to cut down a FREE Christmas tree with my dad. We’d get up early in the am and off we’d go to some unnamed dirt road in the country for the perfect (side off the road) Cedar tree. It was quite hysterical, us looking and looking and sizing each of them up from the car and once I spotted “the one” my dad yould hop out with an axe and chop it down. He’d throw it in the back of the truck and we’d marvel at the excellent choice we made all the way home. Then we’d find the “hole” in it and spend the next 30 minutes angling it so the “hole ” wouldn’t show. I never knew people bought a tree until I was older. I thought they had artificial or trees like we had. And then what some trees cost …..Free works for me.

Needed soem inspiration. Loved how the pictures are able to shine in the book w/o competing w desgn and colors. .

She is just gorgeous! As is your book! Thanks for the chance to win. My favorite childhood memory is a combination of things, but they all involve my parents “just being there”… for games, recital, well, for everything. They were always there.

The book is just gorgeous and I really like the fun way you showcased it. Thank you so much for the generous offer of this lovely giveaway.

My favorite childhood memories NOW are of the many summers spent working in the garden with my dad. All of the hard work was not always my favorite way to spend those summers, but enjoying the rewards of the fresh vegetables from the harvest sure is a sweet memory for me today. I also appreciate how much I learned from my dad and I am now passing that on to my children.

Thanks for this chance. It’s so beautiful.

Well, my favorite childhood memory is one day, my dad was angry with me because I didn’t drink my milk, then I asked for it at midnight. He threw the pillow and yelled at me :D A 5 year old girl was shocked because he never behave like this before. After he blew up his temper, he hugged me and said he sorry =)) From that day, he’s never angry at me once more time :D
