Project {LIFE} Summer
The husband gave me some time over the weekend to sit in my room and do whatever I wanted, the only rule he made was that I could not do any work. So I logged out of the internet and I sat down with my Project Summer book and started documenting. *sigh* oh how I love this! *sorry for the dark pics, it has been rainy here and I am still working on my photo taking skills*
In the top left corner is my date card, I created it using my early morning kit. The middle row, far right is a note from a customer – it was the sweetest note and I really wanted to save it. To the right of the date card is a pic of my dad’s Monte Carlo. The journaling on the photo is about how he fixed it up so that JoJo could drive it and it was going to be a surprise for his birthday.
While at my parents this week I found some old pics of my fur babies and it made me smile so big. I scanned them in and included them with a note about how tiny Sienna was and how Dakota was so unimpressed with her!
I also finished my website this week and Aubrey discovered her love of the computer. Nick Jr is full of games and videos that keep Aubrey entertained for hours, at least toddler hours. It was a beautiful discovery!!!
The right side documented 2 very special moments from the week – date night and the swingset!! In the top left corner I included a print out of the I Love You Because print I created for the foyer. Totally got this idea from Becky Higgins and you can read all about it here.
The entire right side of the page is a collage of photos from the day JoJo spent putting together Aubrey’s swing. I included some journaling about how proud JoJo was and how happy Aubrey was!
The bottom left corner was all about our date night. I created this date night card using my innocence kit and I glued our movie stubs to it. I also found the funniest, and oh so true, cartoon and printed that out and included it.
I included an 8.5×11 insert between my 2 pages and inside the insert I included a collage of photos from our beach day trip. I put the collage together in photoshop and printed it directly on notebook paper.
On the back of the insert I used a large photo of Aubrey in the sand and I documented all about our day.
